"Jewellery connects us to significant times, people, memories and emotions ..."

I make jewellery that is subtly elegant, simple but striking, eye-catching and unusual, that is a pleasure to wear - everyday and on special occasions!
My designs are inspired by natural forms, books I've read, art, fairy tales, dreams and day dreams.

My style is contemporary yet timeless - I am drawn to curves and contrasts, simple elegant shapes, layers and textures, highlights and shadows, and juxtapositions.

Each piece is handcrafted, using a combination of traditional and modern methods and techniques, and quality materials - locally and ethically sourced as much as possible, with a focus on conscientious long lasting craftsmanship.

Here's how it began ...

Being a jewellery designer and maker is a far cry from my previous life as a librarian. I am very lucky to have worked in a number of wonderful, and unique libraries, happily surrounded by ancient tomes and dusty manuscripts.

Many libraries down the track and I was lost in the corporate wilderness, burnt out and anxious. Deciding that life is too short, and too precious, to waste time doing things that make you miserable, I walked away ...

I took a short course in jewellery making and it felt like I was coming home - I had completely forgotten that I was a creative being. I realised I was humming while I worked, relishing the pure and simple pleasure of working with my hands and how it frees the mind, and the joy of rediscovering my creativity.

Naturally, that one short course wasn't enough, so I spent many more years training and learning, and am now a qualified jeweller and designer, and here I am! doing what I love.

Along the way, I have been fortunate to have met so many interesting and inspiring people, and I hope to meet many more.

I would love you to share your story with me and let me make you something beautiful and meaningful, that will hold your memories, and become a part of your story.

The things that make us unique are the things that make us wonderful. I try to celebrate the perfect imperfections that make us who we are
